Account ledgers

Inspect debit and credit activity for selected accounts and periods, with document references and supported account-by-account legal-format output.

Explain the movement behind an account total

The Account Ledger report focuses on account activity: date, document type and number, counterparty, description, debit and credit. Filter the relevant accounts and period to inspect a particular balance-sheet or expense account without pulling every company transaction into a manual spreadsheet.

Choose the account scope deliberately

A parent account and its subaccounts are not automatically the same filter. Select the intended fully qualified accounts, or use the supported account-selection workflow to include the relevant children. The paginated legal layout groups output by account, with subtotals and balance information, making a focused review easier to share with an adviser.

What to know before you start

Check the account names and selected dates before exporting. Account-level reports use synchronized analytical data; source-document edits belong in the operational workflow.

Practical questions

Does choosing a parent automatically include every subaccount?

Use the supported selection to include the exact parent and child accounts you intend to review.

Can I export one account for a longer period?

Account-scoped legal export is supported. Choose the relevant account and period instead of requesting every account unnecessarily.
