Bank connections

Connect eligible US and European bank accounts, read imported movements and choose how each account participates in the accounting workflow with FOR:EXCHANGE.

Bring bank movements into the same workspace

FOR:EXCHANGE is the bank-connectivity capability, not an EDI service or a foreign-exchange trading tool. Authorize an eligible institution through the bank connection flow and review the accounts it makes available. The workspace shows account context, transaction history and permission information so bank data can support the company's accounting work.

Connect first, choose automation deliberately

Reading account movements and recording their accounting effect are different operations. Automatic posting is selected per account, not silently enabled by connecting a bank. Review imported transactions, their processing status and the resulting financial record where one has been created. Availability and refresh timing depend on the institution and the current bank authorization.

What to know before you start

Coverage is institution-specific; do not assume every bank or country is supported. A bank connection reads data and supports accounting processing, not direct payment initiation from your bank.

Practical questions

Is FOR:EXCHANGE for currency exchange or EDI?

No. It connects bank accounts and supports imported bank-transaction workflows. Currency accounting and external operations integrations are separate capabilities.

Will every movement be recorded automatically?

No. Per-account settings, permissions, subscription rules and the transaction's matching outcome determine what happens.
