Cross-border bank accounts

Use the supported regional connection choice for eligible US or European bank accounts while keeping each account's currency and company context explicit.

Choose the region of the bank you need

A company's home country and the location of a bank account are not always the same. The foreign-account connection workflow supports a regional choice for eligible US and European institutions. Review the actual institution offered by the connection flow and the accounts returned after authorization rather than assuming a company address proves coverage.

Keep the foreign-currency movement intact

Imported amounts retain their transaction currency. Matching and posting require the correct currency context and a suitable accounting bank account. Home-currency reporting is a separate accounting interpretation, not a reason to relabel or pre-convert the original bank amount. This helps companies review foreign accounts alongside domestic ones without losing what the bank actually reported.

What to know before you start

A regional option is not universal bank coverage. This feature does not open a foreign bank account, exchange funds or remove the bank's business-identity requirements.

Practical questions

Can I assume every US or European bank is available?

No. Check the specific institution and account support during the connection workflow.

Will bank amounts be replaced with my home currency?

The source transaction keeps its own currency. Accounting conversion follows the supported platform rules.
