SEPA payment and collection files
Prepare supported credit-transfer and direct-debit files from eligible bills and invoices, with explicit bank details and company identifiers.
Start from the documents to pay or collect
The SEPA workflow identifies eligible supplier bills or customer invoices using the configured terms, bank references and selected period or due dates. Review the list and choose the intended bank account before generating the file. Supplier payments and customer collections have different requirements and use their appropriate credit-transfer or direct-debit format.
Generate the format your bank expects
Supported European output uses ISO 20022 payment messages. Italian companies also have the applicable CBI formats and the separate Ri.Ba collection option. Required company identifiers and bank details are checked before generation. Take the resulting file through your bank's submission and authorization process rather than assuming the download has moved money.
What to know before you start
SEPA file generation is separate from FOR:EXCHANGE bank feeds and direct payment initiation. Your bank must accept and authorize the selected format and transactions.
Practical questions
Does generating a file send the payment?
No. Submit and authorize the file through your bank's workflow, then verify the outcome.
Are Italian CBI formats offered to every country?
No. CBI and Ri.Ba options are restricted to Italian company configuration. The European format has its own eligibility and identifier requirements.
